ESSENTIALS ADD-ON · SITE AUDIT
Request your website audit
Give us your website and we will suggest the five pages to audit, your homepage plus the four that look most important. Confirm them and you are done. A designer reads all five and scores them against brand, accessibility, content and structure. Free, one per business every 12 months, and the report is yours to keep either way.

5 pages × 4 lenses = 20 scores, plus a ranked fix list
Two minutes, five short steps
Every step here is something we need before a designer can start, so all of it is required. Most of it arrives pre-filled: your sitemap gives us the pages, and the earliest session slot is already selected. Two minutes if you agree with our picks.
Step 1 of 5
Fields marked * are required.
Nothing is lost if you stop. Your answers are kept in this browser, and we can email you a link that reopens the form exactly where you left it. Nothing is sent to us until you submit.
This opens your own email app with the link ready to send to yourself. It goes to you, not to us.
What you get, free
Free
One per business, every 12 months
- Your homepage plus four pages you choose
- Scored out of 10 on all four lenses: brand, accessibility to WCAG 2.1 AA, content, structure
- Your top 10 issues written up with the evidence
- A ranked fix list you can work down in order
- A 30-minute walkthrough, booked below
- The report is yours to keep, whatever you decide next
Not included at five pages: sitemap, journeys and content inventory, and the free audit does not count as phase 1 of Brand and Website. Five pages is too light a base for that.
What the audit does not cover
- Doing the fixes. That is Design Desk or Brand and Website.
- Formal accessibility certification or screen reader testing.
- Penetration testing or security assessment.
- Technical SEO, backlinks and keyword research.
- Load, speed and performance engineering.
- Third party platform and integration audits.
What happens when
SAME DAY
We confirm we have your request.
1 BUSINESS DAY
We confirm the five pages. If your choices leave an obvious gap we will say so.
DAYS 2 TO 5
A designer reads and scores every page. Nothing needed from you.
DAY 5
Report lands in your inbox: scores, findings and the ranked fix list.
DAY 14
Your 30-minute walkthrough, at the slot you picked. The report is already in your hands, so the time goes on what to do about it.
Bigger site?
The full site audit covers every page and template for $950 flat, up to 25 pages, in 10 working days. It adds the sitemap, journeys and content inventory, a 60-minute walkthrough, one re-audit within 6 months, and it counts as phase 1 of Brand and Website in full. Ask for it in the notes and we will quote it instead.
Want every page looked at, not five?
The full site audit is $950 flat for up to 25 pages, and unlike the free five-page audit it counts as phase 1 of a rebuild in full. Same four lenses, deeper scope.
Questions people ask before they book
Is the free audit really free?
Yes. Five pages, no cost, no obligation, and the report is yours to keep whether you spend a dollar with us or not. One free audit per business every 12 months. We lead with it because it is the fastest way to show you what we would actually do, rather than telling you about it.
Why five pages, and which ones should I pick?
Most sites have three or four problems that matter far more than the rest, and five pages is usually enough to find them. Pick your homepage plus the four that carry the most weight. For most businesses that is services, about and contact, plus whichever page gets the most traffic. If your choices leave an obvious gap, we will say so when we confirm scope.
Why is the walkthrough two weeks out?
So the report is already in your hands when we talk. We aim to have the audit back to you five working days from the day we confirm your pages, and the fortnight leaves room for that plus a buffer. It means the 30 minutes goes on what to do about the findings, not on reading them to you. If we finish early we will offer you an earlier slot.
What do you actually look at?
Four lenses, each scored out of 10. Brand: does the logo, palette, type, imagery and tone hold together page to page. Accessibility: contrast, type sizes, heading order, alt text, focus states and touch targets, checked against WCAG 2.1 AA at design level. Content: plain English, does the page lead with what you do, can it be scanned in 10 seconds, plus your titles and meta descriptions. Structure: navigation and the paths people take to enquire, and where they get lost.
What is not in the audit?
Doing the fixes, which is Design Desk or Brand and Website. Formal accessibility certification or screen reader testing. Penetration testing and security assessment. Technical SEO, backlinks and keyword research. Load, speed and performance engineering. Third party platform and integration audits. If you need any of those we will tell you who does handle them.
What if we want every page audited?
The full site audit is $950 flat for a site of up to 25 pages, delivered in about 10 working days. Above 25 pages we add $30 a page, and anything over 60 pages we quote. It adds the sitemap, journeys and content inventory, a score per template, every issue rather than the top 10, a 60-minute walkthrough and one re-audit within six months. Excludes GST. It goes on your Essentials invoice, in two instalments if you prefer.
Does the free audit count towards a redesign?
No. Five pages is too light a base to plan a rebuild from, so the free audit does not become phase 1 of Brand and Website. The full site audit does, in full. A redesign cannot start without it, so if a rebuild is where you are heading you pay for that audit once and it becomes phase 1 of the project rather than an extra line on the quote.
Do you audit our platform, and can you fix it afterwards?
We audit any platform. Whether we can then do the fixes depends on your build and hosting, which is why we ask what you are on. We check that before promising anything, and if we cannot work on it we will say so rather than take the work.
What if the site turns out to be fine?
Then we say so and stop there. You will have a written, evidence backed answer before you spend money on a redesign you may not need.
