Zetta has run managed IT for Perth organisations since 2004. Small businesses kept telling us the same thing: IT buying is confusing, the pricing is hard to compare, and it’s never clear what’s actually included. So we packaged our managed IT services for small business into one simple plan, gave it its own identity, and built everything it needed to stand on its own.
The brief: a productised service with its own identity
A clear, packaged offer
One managed IT plan a small business can understand and buy. No jargon, no guesswork.
Its own identity
A sub-brand that stands on its own, yet stays clearly connected to the Zetta parent.
We named it Essentials, and framed the whole offer around one line: “We run your IT. You run your business.”
The offer: five things Essentials promises
Before we drew a single logo, we pinned down what the customer actually gets. Everything else in the brand hangs off these five pillars.
Keep You Running
We minimise downtime through proactive monitoring and maintenance. Identifying and resolving potential issues before they disrupt your team’s productivity.
Keep You Secure
We lower your cyber risk with a multi-layered security approach. Our team monitors your environment 24/7 to detect and respond to threats.
Keep You Connected
We ensure your team can collaborate seamlessly from anywhere using the full power of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange).
Keep You Supported
Your staff get a single, reliable point of contact for help. Our certified local team resolves issues quickly so your people can get back to work.
Keep You Informed
We provide clarity, not confusion. Regular business reviews help you understand your IT costs, security posture, and roadmap for the future.
Behind the pillars sit 24×7 SOC monitoring through Huntress Managed SOC, and full administration of Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint and Exchange. Not sure where your own IT stands? Start with a free IT health check.
And one price, written in full: $95 per user, per month, minimum 10 users, excludes GST.
How we built it: a double-diamond process
We used the Design Council’s double diamond, but not as a straight line. We looped back at every stage as we learned.
Research, naming and moodboards
Positioning and wide exploration before anything was decided.
The offer, the pillars and the promise
What’s included, what it costs, and the one line that says it.
Identity, colour, type, voice and components
Iterated across three full versions.
Website and collateral, in market
An accessible website, service pages and a full collateral suite, launched on 1 July 2026.
Wide exploration first
We tested palettes and pairings, explored typefaces and weights, and sketched marks, buttons, cards and layouts before we settled the system. Some of it turned out ugly. That’s the job: you make the bad versions to find the one worth building.
Then we set layout and hierarchy as wireframes before any styling, layered colour, type and components over that structure, and kept only what tested well.
Identity: one mark, three lockups
Essentials uses the Zetta brand mark unchanged, in lockups for navy, white and olive grounds. A bold “zetta” wordmark pairs with a lighter, wide-tracked “ESSENTIALS” to mark the sub-brand without competing with the parent.
Colour: calm, grounded, accessible
Most IT brands reach for a cold, electric blue. We went the other way: an analogous blue-green palette that feels calm and human, anchored by navy.
Every pairing is contrast-checked, and colour never carries meaning on its own.
| Background | Text colour | Contrast |
|---|---|---|
| Navy | White | 17:1 |
| Olive | White | 6.3:1 |
| Sage | Navy | 11:1 |
| Light blue | Navy | 9.8:1 |
Type: Heebo and Roboto
Heebo Bold for headings and the wordmark: confident, geometric, friendly. Roboto for body copy, interface text and footnotes, never smaller than 14px, with a line height of 1.5. They’re the same faces the Zetta parent brand uses, so Essentials reads as part of the family.
Voice: how Essentials sounds
“We” and “you”
We talk like people. Warm, direct and human.
Plain English
Lead with what you get and quote a number. No buzzwords.
Australian English
Sentence case everywhere except product names.
A little warmth
Contractions are welcome, and numbers are numerals.
A working UI kit
Buttons are 44px tall with a 6px radius and a visible 3px focus ring. Olive carries the main action. Response times sit in a plain table, because a busy owner should be able to read them in a glance:
| Priority | Definition | Response |
|---|---|---|
| Critical | Business down or server down | 30 minutes |
| High | Major impact or VIP user | 1 hour |
| Medium | Standard issue or single user | 4 hours |
Accessible by default
Every pairing meets WCAG 2.1 AA. Every field has a visible label, and motion respects reduced-motion settings.
The Essentials website: one page, built from the system
A calm, focused hero
One benefit-led headline, “IT support that works as hard as your team”, and one olive call to action.
The five pillars
Scannable cards, each with an icon and a plain-English promise, so the whole offer lands in seconds.
Response times and pricing
A response-time table and one flat monthly rate remove the guesswork that stalls IT decisions.
Accessible throughout
AA contrast, 44px targets and visible focus in every section.
See the result on the Zetta Essentials page.
Collateral: one system, everywhere
The brochure, info pack, one-page inserts, email signatures, pull-up banners and the style guide all draw from the same tokens and the same voice. A small business sees one brand, whether it’s on a banner at an event like the CCIWA Small Business Summit or in a PDF in their inbox.
The outcome
A complete, build-ready brand: a name, an identity, a voice, an accessible design system, a website and a full collateral suite, all from one set of tokens.
